"Neutral China Shop" Political Cartoon
http://www.worldwar1gallery.com/politicalcartoons/ Summary: The cartoon shows Germany as a bull ramming into a storefront titled "neutral china stores". The store has different flags displayed on the front of countries that wished to remain neutral during the war. Among them are the flags of the United States and Belgium. Significance: The significance of the cartoon is that it clearly displays Germany as a brutish animalistic country while the others are symbolized as a delicate, fine china. It was also made to show that Germany was poor spirited and believed that their aggression was justified on the claim that they had been aggravated. It is anti-german. Natalia Zamarripa misael
